Now, lets have some fun!!!
When I was a child I played at school.
And in the afternoon and weekends I played with neighbour kids and my brothers and sister.
When I studied and worked I did not play.
During courtship anything fun like camping and dancing happenned.
During marriage any suggestions were often met with big sighs, grunts, scrunched up face, and nothing happenned. Ok, everyone has freedom to do or not do as they please. Nobody's to blame, things change.
When I got divorced I regained time and freedom and I rediscovered myself. I have been having heaps of fun.
Sailing. Yes, sailing. Small dinghies, bigger keel boats, ocean racing.
Bicycling. You don't have to be good at it. I'm not. It's just so pleasant -on bike tracks that is. And by the beach.
Roller blading. Brrrrr.... Get some good lessons. I just slide about on my discovered nursery-strip.
Ice-skaing. Wowwww. Real cool.Till a friend hurt his wrist so haven't been back for a while.
Playing music. For fun and sometimes for money.
Dancing. Sigh... How I wish guys would dance instead of standing around bars talking with other guys.
Skipping ropes. Yes, still remember how-to.
Kayaking. Try it! A shorter 'hybrid' indestructible-plastic kayak/surfski is real easy and relatively safe.
Play farming with WWOOF (Willing Workers on Organic Farm)
Card games, chess, movies, dinner, arguing, etc with friends you can laugh with.
Camping still to do on land, a lot done on boats!
Skiing still to do this season. Oh, need to take more lessons.
